Some 80 bilateral meetings are expected within ASEM Summit

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the sidelines of the ongoing 11th ASEM Summit here, some 80 bilateral meetings of heads of states and governments are expected.

Bilateral meetings are indispensable part of the ASEM, and as a rule, they touch upon pertinent issues of mutual concern and  allow the parties to reach certain agreements and solutions.

However, the planned meetings will be closed to media in the Shangri-La UB hotel, the “Chingisiin khuree” and “ASEM Villa” town between Myanmar and the Netherlands; EU and Japan; South Korea and Laos; Japan and Germany; and Singapore and Sweden.
