MFA holds “Media Hour” meeting

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolia attaches a great importance to its relations with Hungary, said E.Yesukhei, a deputy director of the Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Europe and American Affairs, at the “Media Hour” weekly meeting on Tuesday.

He talked about the establishment of five agreements such as on augmenting the quota for Mongolian students in Hungary with governmental scholarships and renovating techniques of the “Biokombinat” state-run medicine factory, in frames of the official visit of the Hungarian Premier to Mongolia December 24-26 of 2015.

Yesukhei also said a composition has been created for a council that will provide the national programmes on promoting Mongolia abroad and on World Mongolians with general management and regulations.

Concerning the consular issues, he said Mongolia currently operates its Embassies and General Consulates in 46 places abroad. The diplomatic missions’ consular sections provide Mongolians with eight kinds of registration services.

Yesukhei spoke about working groups that have been set up to ensure a preparation for the ASEM Summit in concrete affairs such as accommodation, safety, security and transportation.
