Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Within the 14th Sport Games of Mongolia, the 36th boxing national championships named after V.Batbayar, a State Honored Coach, started Monday in the House of Sports.

This year’s tournament attracted 232 boxers from 34 clubs, and first bouts of men’s -49, -56, -60, -75, women’s -48, -57, and -64 kg took place on the first day by the schedule.

A gold medalist of the 2014 Asian Games D.Otgondalai automatically received his first win at the first match in the men’s -60 kg because his rival A.Dashdejid did not arrive on the ring due to a specific reason.

A State Honored Sportsman and Olympic bronze medalist U.Monkh-Erdene (men’s -64 kg) missed the national championship because of an injury.
