Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its meeting on Monday, the National Emergency Commission (NEC) got familiarized with a report on winter conditions, and then heard another report from M.Enkh-Amar, the NEC secretary on his works in localities.

In accordance with an order of the Prime Minister, the NEC got acquainted with winter conditions in all aimags and carried out evaluation of risks. In addition, an emergency group set up by an order of the Deputy Premier worked on December 16-28, 2015 in localities.

According to results of the risk evaluation, the dzud (disaster of heavy snow) is continuing in 50 soums of 16 provinces, and the winter condition is worsening in 110 soums of 20 provinces.

After hearing of the reports, obligations were given to T.Badral, head of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), the R.Chingis, head of the General Police Department (GPD), and Sh.Radnaased, head of the General Authority for Specialized Inspection (GASI), to properly exploit capitals in the aimags suffering from bad weather, to urgently deliver social and health services to people in remote areas in risky zone, and to submit a report to the NEC on taken measures. They were also ordered to deliver hay and fodder to aimags and to prevent an illegal trade of the fodder.
