G.Ariunbaatar performs for UK’s royal family

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ In the evening of October 26, the royal family of the United Kingdom watched the performance by the Mongolian opera singer G.Ariunbaatar, the Grand Prix winner of the XV International Tchaikovsky Opera Competition.

The first prize winners of the competition, Ariunbaatar Ganbaatar, Baritone (Grand Prix, Male Vocal), Andrei Ionuț Ioniță (Cello), Dmitry Masleev (Piano), Yulia Matochkina. Mezzo-Soprano (Female Vocal) performed a recital at the Cadogan Hall of London. The recital was hosted by Maestro Valery Gergiev, the general and artistic director of Mariinsky Theatre.

They have been travelling in the USA and the UK since October 20.
