UB Mayor meets Ambassador of China
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city E.Bat-Uul Tuesday received Mr Xing Haiming, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China (PRC) to Mongolia.
The Mayor congratulated Mr Xing Haiming on becoming the new Ambassador to Mongolia and said he is happy with China's contribution to the development of Ulaanbaatar city, "many works have been realized in the city with investments and aid from China". He expressed a hope that Ulaanbaatar will expand its cooperation with Beijing and other biggest cities of China.
In response, the Ambassador expressed a satisfaction with an expansion of the bilateral cooperation, and said he would be grateful to co-implement works proposed by the capital city of Mongolia. He said his country is ready to collaborate with Mongolia and to give assistance for hosting the biggest events such as the 2016 ASEM Summit and realizing an ambitious plan to organize the 2033 Winter Universiade.
