Ulaanbaatar Governor Takes Charge of Metro Construction in the Capital City
Government Resolution No. 411 on the Construction of a High-Capacity Public Transport System (Metro) in the capital city of Ulaanbaatar was revised. According to the Resolution, the Minister of Mongolia B. Delgersaikhan, Chair of the National Committee on the Reduction of Traffic Congestion in Ulaanbaatar, and Kh. Nyambaatar, the Governor of the Capital City, and the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar City were granted the right to organize the work to announce an international bidding for contractors and management consulting services for the construction of the metro in Ulaanbaatar in 2024-2028, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Furthermore, Governor of Ulaanbaatar Kh. Nyambaatar was tasked with developing the necessary calculations and studies related to funding in 2024 for the metro construction, presenting for discussion at the Ulaanbaatar Citizens' Representative Khural, and reflecting funding sources and capital costs in the Capital City Budget.
