Ulaanbaatar, July 7, 2025 /MONTSAME/. Summary of events for the week of July 7-13, 2025.


At the invitation of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, Emperor of Japan His Majesty Naruhito and Empress of Japan Her Majesty Masako are paying a State Visit to Mongolia on July 6-13, 2025.


Events in Ulaanbaatar:


July 7: In commemoration of the 390th anniversary of the birth of Undur Gegeen Zanabazar, a special exhibition titled “The Heritage of the Undur Gegeen in Fine Arts” will be inaugurated at the Zanabazar Museum of Fine Arts.

July 8: The “Deeltei Mongol Festival” will be organized for the 19th time at the Sukhbaatar Square.

July 8-9: Meetings of the Standing Committees of the State Great Khural will convene at the State Palace.

July 8: A regular session of the Cabinet will convene.

July 10: State Flag Day will be celebrated.

July 10: Within the framework of the 75th anniversary of the Grand Theatre of National Arts of Mongolia, the Mongolian State Grand National Orchestra will present its performance Beautiful Country of Mongolia for the 25th consecutive year.

July 11: The Opening ceremony of the National Naadam Festivalmarking the 2234th anniversary of the establishment of Mongolian Statehood, the 819th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire, the 114th anniversary of the Restoration of National Freedom and Independence, and the 104th anniversary of the People’s Revolution of Mongolia, will be held at the Central Stadium in Ulaanbaatar.

July 11: “Ulaanbaatar Night-2025” show for the National Naadam Festivals will take place on Sukhbaatar Square.

July 11: The evening event of the National Naadam Festival, “Mongolia Shining Eternally,” will take place at the Central Stadium in Ulaanbaatar

July 11-12: The “Cultural Festival” will take place for the 17th year at Khui Doloon Khudag.

July 12: The performance “The Wonder of Mongolian Dance” will take place at the Corporate Hotel and Convention Centre.

July 13: The “Festival for Horse Trainers” will be held at the “Mongol Naadam” Complex at Khui Doloon Khudag.


-In commemoration of the 390th anniversary of the birth of Undur Gegeen Zanabazar, the Exhibition titled “Mongolian Craftsman: Heritage and Artistry” is presented at the Chinggis Khaan National Museum of Mongolia until July 20, 2025.


-In commemoration of the 390th anniversary of the birth of Undur Gegeen Zanabazar, the Exhibition of valuable artworks and paintings titled “Long Life Offering and Rare Collections” is presented at the exhibition hall of the Bogdo Khaan Palace Museum until July 20, 2025.


Local Events:


July 10: The musical drama “Galdan Boshgot Khaan” will be performed on the stage of the Music and Drama Theatre of Khovd aimag.

July 10-13: The National Naadam Festival will be celebrated throughout aimags and soums of Mongolia, commemorating the 2234th anniversary of the establishment of Mongolian Statehood, the 819th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire, the 114th anniversary of the Restoration of National Freedom and Independence, and 104th anniversary of the People’s Revolution of Mongolia.


-At the Museum of Arkhangai aimag, the temporary Exhibition “Nature from Up Close” is on display until July 28, 2025.
