MP D.Tsogtbaatar attends 21st Winter Meeting of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. D.Tsogtbaatar, MP and Chair of
the Mongolia-OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Liaison Group, attended the 21st Winter
Meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly that took place in Vienna on February
24-25.
During the meeting, the Committee on Political Affairs and
Security, the Committee on Economic Affairs, Science, Technology and
Environment; and the Committee on Democracy, Human Rights and Humanitarian
Questions convened and held discussions.
On the sidelines of the event, MP D.Tsogtbaatar met with the President of
the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Margareta Cederfelt. At
the meeting, he emphasized the importance of the OSCE Parliamentary
Assembly’s involvement with positive, harmonious and mutually beneficial
solution and role in the new situation posed in the current system of
international security.
He also met with Head of UK parliamentary delegation John
Whittingdale, Head of French parliamentary delegation Seren Muborn, Head of
Bulgarian parliamentary delegation Iskren Mitev, Head of Slovak parliamentary
delegation Peter Osuski, and Head of Georgian parliamentary delegation Nikolos Samkharadze, and exchanged views on inter-parliamentary cooperation.
