Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Government of Mongolia and the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry /MNCCI/ have launched a project to build a ‘Made in Mongolia’ shopping center in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China.
The shopping center is expected to become a regular supply of Mongolian products, making it easier for businesses to officially launch and trade their products on the Chinese market. The main goal of the project is to increase non-mining exports and protect jobs. Also, with the establishment of this center, there will be more opportunities to intensify business cooperation between the two countries and develop national production.
In 2014, the Administrative division of Hohhot Inner Mongolia and the Ministry of Food and Agriculture and Light Industry agreed to establish a center to sell Mongolian products, but no concrete results have been achieved. The establishment of the “Made in Mongolia” center in Hohhot will open up new opportunities to sell Mongolian products in neighboring markets, take orders, and attract investment, reports the MNCCI.
