‘Frontier Fintech Summit’ kicks off

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ ‘Frontier Fintech Summit 2019’ first international conference co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Financial Regulatory Commission (FRC) and Mongolian Fintech Association opened on May 10.
Opening the summit, Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar, FRC Chief S.Davaasuren and Brazilian Congressman David Soares delivered remarks. Deputy Finance Minister Kh.Bulgantuya and CEO of Input Output Hong Kong Charles Hoskinson delivered the key presentations.
The summit aims to introduce current state of rapidly growing global fintech industry and discuss Mongolia’s opportunities and challenges. Outstanding global fintech entrepreneurs, leading businesses and policy makers of Mongolia, accomplished experts and investors shared opinions on fintech development, best practices and solutions, discussing future opportunities for cooperation.
Representatives of government agencies in finance and technology sector discussed the policies and lacking regulations of the sector and shared views with international experts and private sector on the required actions.
The summit will continue on May 11 at the conference hall of Shangri-La hotel.
