Mongolian mining representatives to attend PDAC-2019

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 87th PDAC World’s Mineral Exploration and Mining Convention and Expo will be held in Toronto, Canada on March 3-6, 2019.
Mongolian representatives of mining sector are ensuring their preparation to attend the event which offers wide opportunities to promote the country’s current state of mining sector, investment climate, implementing projects and programs and actions to be taken in the future. Over 25 thousand delegates from 135 countries are expected to participate in the world's leading convention this year.
As for Mongolia, the event is special this year as it is coinciding the time when the Government of Mongolia has resolved to sell up to 30 percent of the total shares of Erdenes Tavan Tolgoi JSC on the international and domestic stock markets and the country is striving to launch its major infrastructure and other constructions projects.
During the event, the Mongolian delegation will organize a forum with purposes to promote mining sector in Mongolia and provide investors with information.
