World Savings Day campaign launches

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On October 22, the Bank of Mongolia (BoM), Mongolian Bankers Association, Sparkassen Finanzgruppe (German Savings Bank Finance Group) and commercial banks launched a savings campaign on the occasion of the upcoming World Savings Day.
Series of events, lectures and workshops promoting the importance of savings will be organized within the campaign until November 2. On October 31, events on the occasion of the World Savings Day will take place in Ulaanbaatar and Darkhan cities respectively.
Mongolia
started celebrating the World Savings Day nationwide since last year under the
‘National program for financial literacy’
implemented by the BoM, Ministry of Finance, Financial Regulatory Commission
and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports since 2016.
