Foreign Minister of Mongolia Receives Non-Resident Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar, November 6, 2024 /MONTSAME/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia Battsetseg Batmunkh received non-resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Singapore to Mongolia Eric Teo on November 5, 2024.


Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh emphasized that relations and cooperation with Southeast Asian countries hold a significant position in Mongolia’s foreign policy towards the Asia-Pacific region. The Foreign Minister expressed confidence that the Ambassador would continue to work actively to activate political dialogue at all levels between the two countries. 


Ambassador Eric Teo noted that during his tenure as non-resident Ambassador of Singapore to Mongolia, he would further focus on expanding the scope of cooperation between Mongolia and Singapore and deepening cooperation on regional and international fora. Ambassador Eric Teo expressed commitment to solemnly celebrating the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 2025.
