Mongolian Government Issues Resolution for PISA-2022 Assessment Measures

Ulaanbaatar, March 7, 2024 /MONTSAME/. The Government of Mongolia has issued a resolution outlining measures to be implemented based on the results and policy recommendations of the international PISA-2022 evaluation of students' academic achievement. As the resolution is approved and implemented, officials anticipate meeting the following conditions:
- Organizing
education quality assessments at all levels using internationally recognized
methods and preparing for the 2025 PISA assessment.
- Implementing
measures to improve the native language and basic reading skills of
kindergarten and general education students.
- Providing
necessary school infrastructure, learning environments, materials, and
electronic equipment.
- Collaborating
on measures to reduce educational disparities between urban and rural areas and
different socio-economic groups.
