Visa-Free Travel to Vietnam for 30 Days to Start on March 7

Ulaanbaatar, February 15, 2024 /MONTSAME/. During the State Visit of President of Mongolia Khurelsukh Ukhnaa to Vietnam on November 1-5, 2023, an Agreement on Exemption from Visa Requirements for Holders of Diplomatic, Official, and Ordinary Passports was signed between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The Agreement, signed by Mongolian Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkh and Vietnamese Minister of Public Security General To Lam, will officially come into effect on March 7, 2024. 

This visa waiver Agreement will allow Mongolian citizens to visit Vietnam for up to 30 days without obtaining a visa.
