Mongolia-Hungary Online Business Meeting

Ulaanbaatar, April 24, 2023 /MONTSAME/. Trade and economic cooperation between Mongolia and Hungary has been gradually intensifying. “The trade turnover between the two countries has reached USD 13 million,” it was noted at the online business meeting held last week. The participants of the business meeting concurred that cooperation between the businesses of Mongolia and Hungary should be developed grounded on non-mining exports.
The current Mongolian-Hungarian cooperation is developing based on traditional relations. At the meeting, they specified the renovation project of BioKombinat State-owned Company built with Hungarian assistance, and the continuing training of 200 Mongolian students in Hungarian higher educational institutions each year by the scholarship of the Government of Hungary.
Over 40 Mongolian and Hungarian companies took part in the online meeting and exchanged opinions on further cooperation.
Mongolia and Hungary established diplomatic relations on April 28, 1950. The Air Services Agreement between the Governments of Mongolia and Hungary has been recently renewed.
