Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Chairman of the State Great Khural G.Zandanshatar participated in the Oath-taking ceremony of a newly-appointed member of the Turkish Constitutional Court at the invitation of the President of the Constitutional Court of Turkey Zühtu Arslan along with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to the country G.Munkhbayar and Member of the Parliament, Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on State Development, and Deputy Chairman of the Mongolia-Turkey Parliamentary Group J.Munkhbat on Oct 17, 2022.
President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye Mustafa Şentop, and the head of the Supreme Court were also present at the ceremony.
In his speech at the beginning of the ceremony, the President of the Constitutional Court, Zukhtu Arslan, emphasized that the foundation of the existence of the Constitutional Court is in upholding the Constitution and protecting fundamental rights, and defending and maintaining a rights-based approach in the interests of the country.
