Mongolia, Japan holds first consular consultation meeting

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The first consular consultation meeting between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan was held online on October 13.
The meeting was chaired by Director of the Consular department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia B.Bold and Director-General of the Consular Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan Toshihide Ando.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on
bilateral consular issues such as procedures under the coronavirus pandemic,
facilitation of travel between Mongolia and Japan by citizens of both sides,
protection of the rights of citizens, the cooperation between the legal and
social security sectors as well as other bilateral issues.
