Japan provides emergency medical service vehicles to NEMA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ As part of the Japanese government’s official development assistance to Mongolia, emergency medical service vehicles have been provided to the National Emergency Management Agency of Mongolia. Specifically, seven long-range SUVs fully equipped with medical equipment for emergencies were handed over on March 3.


The vehicles equipped with necessary equipment including oxygen masks and cardiac monitors will be used during emergencies besides providing emergency COVID-19 and other medical services for senior citizens, pregnant women, and people with disabilities in the capital and rural areas.


The hand-over event was attended by Deputy Prime Minster S.Amarsaikhan, Director of NEMA G.Ariunbuyan, Ambassador of Japan to Mongolia Kobayashi Hiroyuki and other officials.
