Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Following to many requests and complaints received from citizens over the years regarding issues related to their living environment and safety, inspections on various matters were conducted at the Capital City Land Management Department, Capital City Urban Development Agency, and the Capital City Road Development agency.

As a result, the organizations were found to have common violations such as insufficient implementation of relevant laws and regulations, failure to take necessary measures to create a legal environment, abuse of power, and granting privileges to others.

There were also violations such as insufficient resolution of official letters, petitions, and complaints submitted by citizens and legal entities, failure to scrutinize and clarify the causes, failure to fully resolve issues within the legal timeframe, and bureaucracy in providing public services. In addition, works done to improve the ethics and discipline of civil servants, to identify ethical shortcomings, and to prevent corruption and conflicts of interest have been insufficient.

Therefore, the three organizations have been instructed to eliminate the violations and shortcomings identified during the audit. These include:

-To fully comply its operations with relevant laws and regulations;

-To renew some regulations and avoid misapplication of the powers granted by law

-To improve monitoring over works carried out with state and capital city budget funds,

-To fully digitize public services and reduce bureaucracy,

-To reduce the number of stages and processes involved in submitting and resolving requests and complaints,

-To analyze petitions and complaints submitted by citizens and to make final decisions based on legal grounds.
