Foreign Minister meets UAE Minister of State for International Cooperation

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg who is attending the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly held a meeting with Minister of State for International Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates Reem Al Hashimy on September 21 to discuss relations and cooperation between the two countries.

 

At the meeting, Minister B.Battsetseg said this year marks the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and UAE and that the Mongolian foreign minister plans to pay a visit to UAE to open Mongolia’s Embassy in Dubai and promote Mongolia at the Dubai Expo 2020 on the occasion of the anniversary.

 

Minister of State Reem Al Hashimy expressed her pleasure that Mongolia will be attending Dubai Expo 2020 and said she hopes that an event to be held during the expo to promote Mongolia will make an important contribution to increasing trade and investment flows between the two countries.
