Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg meets her Botswanan counterpart

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg met with Minister of International Affairs and Cooperation of Botswana Lemogang Kwape during the 76th Session of the UN General Assembly, exchanging views on issues of bilateral cooperation.
At the outset, Minister B.Battsetseg reaffirmed her commitment to establish diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The sides, as landlocked developing countries, discussed opportunities to work together for the common interests, and to exchange experiences and cooperate in the fields of governance, development planning and the rational use of natural resources.
Expressing commitment in establishing diplomatic relations, Minister Lemogang Kwape noted that the two countries have opportunities to cooperate in the fields of minerals, wool and cashmere.
With the establishment of diplomatic relations between
Mongolia and the Republic of Botswana, Mongolia will have formal relations with
all UN member states.
