French senators visit National Cancer Center of Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Representatives led by chair of the French-Mongolian friendship group in the Senate of France Philippe Mouiller, who are paying a visit to Mongolia at the invitation of chair of the Mongolia-France Parliamentary Group J.Chinburen, visited the National Cancer Center of Mongolia (NCCM).
At a meeting held during the visit, Acting Director General of the center N.Erdenekhuu said, “Our doctors and nurses enhanced their skills at cancer hospitals and centers in France and French healthcare professionals provided training in numerous fields. French surgeon Michel Gilliet gave financial assistance in fully equipping NCCM’s department of liver, gallbladder, and pancreas when it was established in 2008. His colleagues and students are now successfully localizing his practices”
The French senators undertook to provide full support training professionals and conducting research for early cancer diagnosis and treatment and the sides agreed to have more in depth discussion at their next online meeting.
