Mongolia’s Permanent Representative delivers statement at the second regular session of UNICEF

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Mongolia is working as an elected member to the Executive Board of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) for the 2019-2021 term. Mr. V. Enkhbold, Permanent Representative of Mongolia to the United Nations, delivered a statement during the online Second Regular Session meeting of the 2021 UNICEF Executive Board which is being held from 7-10 of September of this year.

During his statement, Permanent Representative Mr. V. Enkhbold briefed on the current policies, activities, successes and challenges of the Government of Mongolia taken towards the protection of children’s rights, youth support and increasing employment issues. In addition to noting that the UNICEF’s new Strategic Plan (2022-2025) addresses imminent issues such as the children and youth health, education, economic capacity, security and vulnerability to the climate change specified within the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Permanent Representative Mr. V. Enkhbold expressed Mongolia’s support for this Strategic Plan.
