IM D.Selengee narrowly defeated by Polish archer with a score of 4:6

Tokyo /MONTSAME/. On September 2, IM D.Selengee matched against world champion, two-time Olympic bronze medalist Milena Olszewska of Poland in the women’s individual recurve event at the Paralympic Games. Despite having a fairly good run against the world champion archer, she faced defeat with a score of 4:6.

 

In the first set, Selengee was dominated by her opponent with a score of 8:24 - however, she was able to make it even by coming out on top with 23:21 in the second set. While the Polish athlete took the lead in the next set following a neck-to-neck battle, the Mongolian athlete was able to even out the score again by getting ahead by 6 points. Despite her great efforts in the match, she was defeated with a score of 20:26 in the final set, finishing her run in the Paralympics.
