Digital Nation event to take place at National Amusement Park

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Government of Mongolia has announced information and communications technology as one of the key economic sectors and launched the Digital Nation initiative.
The largest exhibition of the country’s ICT industry, ICT Expo, which is being expanded to ‘Digital Nation’ national event for digital transformation this year, will be held at the National Amusement Park on September 17-19.
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the establishment and development of modern telecommunications sector in Mongolia. The event program includes roundtables and forums on the past, present and future of the industry, increasing significance of the IT industry, as well as the policy to boost cooperation between the IT industry and other industries.
During the three-day event, the latest version of e-Mongolia system for government services will be presented to the public and an esports competition and other public events will take place.
