National Development Agency signs MoU with ICT Group LLC

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The Cabinet Secretariat, the Ministry of Finance, and the National Development Agency have jointly ranked the ‘100 Projects and Measures to be Implemented in Priority Sector’ that will have a significant impact on post-pandemic economic recovery and development and the Prime Minister of Mongolia L.Oyun-Erdene introduced it to the public within the framework of the 100 days of the Government.


Within its mandate, the National Development Agency continues to explore and develop solutions for public-private partnerships and internationally recognized financial mechanisms without increasing the budget burden or increasing the government's external debt to ensure the implementation of these projects.


In the framework of the above work, the National Development Agency has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with ‘ICT Group’ LLC on June 28, 2021, to support and cooperate with national companies that successfully competed in the world market in the field of artificial intelligence, fintech and cloud technology during the Industry 4.0. The event was attended by Kh.Batjargal, Chairman of the National Development Agency, G.Lkhamsuren, Chairman of the Board of ICT Group LLC and other officials.


The main purpose of the Memorandum of Understanding is to determine the scope and direction of cooperation in the implementation of the project ‘Introduction of cloud technology platform at the national leve' included in the ‘100 projects and measures to be implemented in priority sectors’ within the framework of the goal of expanding the cloud computing infrastructure for government information exchange of the National Program ‘e-Government’ reflected in the ‘Government Action Plan 2020-2024’.


Within the framework of this public-private partnership, the system will be introduced at the national level, and the implementation of government policies and programs to digitalize public services, improve data security and independence, and reduce imports in the technology sector will be accelerated.
