COVID-19: 2366 new cases, 13 deaths reported

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. At the regular press briefing of the Ministry of Health for today on June 24, it was reported that 2,366 new cases were detected in Mongolia. More specifically, 1,482 new cases were detected in the capital city, 879 cases in aimags and five hospital-acquired cases.


As of today, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Mongolia now stands at 101,820.


Furthermore, 13 COVID-19 related deaths have been also reported, raising the country’s death toll to 482. Of the 12,898 patients currently undergoing treatment, there are 8,352 patients in mild, 3,097 in serious, 1,221 in critical, and 228 in very critical condition. In addition, 22,630 people with mild cases of COVID-19 are being isolated at home.
