Oxygen generation facilities to be created at district hospitals

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A 145-bed emergency care center is being created at the new building of the Ulaanbaatar city government in Yarmag to provide emergency care to citizens in serious need of hospital treatment and those waiting for hospital beds until beds become available at district hospitals.
On June 21, Head of the State Emergency Commission S.Amarsaikhan and Minister of Health S.Enkhbold visited the center to check on the preparations.
SEC Chair S.Amarsaikhan ordered the Health Minister to give increased focus to the delivery of healthcare services for citizens infected with COVID-19 and the supply of oxygen to sites where beds have been opened and Chief of the National Emergency Management Agency, Brigadier General G.Ariunbuyan to create emergency care and oxygen generation facilities at district hospitals with promptitude.
The officials then worked at the Health Department of Khan-Uul district to check on the progress made in vaccination efforts and the supervision of patients in home isolation. 300 children aged between 16 and 17 have been vaccinated in Khan-Uul district as of June 21 and four mobile clinics are operating in the district.
