1024 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. It was reported during today's press briefing of the Ministry of Health that 1024 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Mongolia after 9045 tests performed in the past 24 hours.
883 of the newly confirmed cases were reported in Ulaanbaatar
city while 140 were detected in rural areas. Moreover,
a citizen who arrived from Japan on May 26 tested positive for the virus.
As a result, the total confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Mongolia have reached 61,396. In the past 24 hours, 535 people have been discharged from hospital, making the number of recoveries 51,383.
It was also reported that two people died from COVID-19, raising
the country’s death toll to 288.
As of today, 4,854 people are undergoing treatment of whom 121
are in very critical health condition.
