COVID-19 infection cases rise by 575

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. At the regular press briefing of the
Ministry of Health today on March 29, it was reported that 575 new cases were
detected in Mongolia after testing 13,210 people nationwide within the past 24
hours.
While there were 174 new cases detected in provinces, 400 were
recorded in Ulaanbaatar city and one case was detected in a passenger who
arrived on a charter flight from Frankfurt.
In the past 24 hours, 185 people have been discharged from
the hospital, bringing the total number of recoveries to 4,711.
As of today, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in
Mongolia now stands at 7589, of which 6268 cases were recorded in Ulaanbaatar
and 724 in provinces.
Today 1,576 patients are receiving treatment at hospitals of
the capital city and provinces. Of the patients, 1416 are in mild, 219 are
in serious, 29 are in critical and nine are in very critical health condition.
