Educational administrators being upskilled

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ As part of the Proficient Educator program, a program to upskill 1,000 educational administrators got off the ground on March 23 with support from the government of the United Kingdom.    

 

669 principals, 310 curriculum coordinators, 35 specialists of departments of education and culture, and 50 instructors of the Institute of Teacher’s Professional Development are taking the training to acquire skills required from adept administrators and get to know about top school curriculums.

 

During the program launch, Minister of Education and Science L.Enkh-Amgalan said, “Educational administrators play an important part in educating students. Personal and corporate leadership development is important for you who will have a key role in the educational reform.”

 

With support from the UK Embassy in Mongolia, Global Growth Institute, Guren Academy, Primary Education Department of the Education Ministry, and the Institute of Teacher’s Professional Development are organizing the online training with 100-110 participants in each session.
