Foreign Minister meets Ambassador of South KoreaPolitics
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia B.Battsetseg received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Mongolia Lee Yeo-hong on February 22.
At the meeting, the sides highlighted about the two countries’ mutual support provided to each other for the arrangement of repatriation charter flights and the assistance given for the Mongolian nationals living in the Republic of Korea during the challenging times of the pandemic, and expressed their continued commitment in the area.
The meeting also touched on matters including bringing the comprehensive partnership between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea up to the strategic partnership level and organizing reciprocal high level visits once the coronavirus pandemic subsides, and strengthening bilateral relations in every possible field.
Moreover, the sides agreed to deepen Mongolia-South Korea cooperation in international and regional level, in particularly, to continue their partnership in maintaining regional peace and security of the Northeast Asia.
