61 new COVID-19 cases recorded

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. At the regular press briefing of the Ministry of Health today on February 6, it was reported that 61 new cases were detected in Mongolia after testing 20,853 people nationwide within the past 24 hours.

 

All of the newly detected cases were identified among close contacts of confirmed cases as well as from cluster infections in Ulaanbaatar. No new infections were recorded in other provinces.

 

As of today, the total number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Mongolia now stands at 1,989, with 1,449 recoveries.
