Three Mongolian judokas win medals at Budapest Grandslam
SportsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Budapest Grandslam which was held on October 23-25 wrapped up yesterday.
Under the
coaching of State Honored Athlete M.Bundmaa, IM B.Batgerel, and Mohammad
Mansouri (coach of Saeid Mollaei), a total of 26 judokas - 13 male and 13
female athletes participated from Mongolia in the tournament and three judokas won medals.
Specifically, G.Narantsetseg, in women’s 48 kg, Saeid Mollaei, in men’s 81 kg, both won bronze medals, while G.Altanbagana, in men’s 90 kg, claimed silver medal.
Mongolian team placed 10th out of 61 teams in the final rankings by winning one silver and two bronze medals and two 5th-place.
