Deputy Health Minister meets Head of KOTRA Representative’s Office

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On August 12, Deputy Minister of Health Sh.Ankhmaa received Head of the Representative’s Office of Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) Jung Won Joon to discuss partnership in the health sector.
At the start of the meeting, Mr. Jung Won Joon informed about the current partnership in enhancing the software programs being used at professional development training and capacity building workshops organized for doctors and medical experts. He then requested the Ministry to provide support in the activities planned for the international conference on improving the sector’s human resource and assessment system, which is planned to be co-organized by the Health Development Center, Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences, and other institutions alongside the agency.
The sides further discussed the aforementioned matters as well as other works being jointly implemented during the meeting. The Deputy Minister highlighted the importance of introducing advanced IT solutions in the health sector, and expressed that the ministry will support the partnership.
