German delegates get familiar with TVET project in Umnugobi aimag

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. The Ambassador of Germany to Mongolia Mr. Jörn Rosenberg, Head of Development Cooperation Mr. Johannes Schneider, Country Director of GIZ Mongolia Mr. Daniel Passon and other delegates visited Umnugobi Polytechnic College, the partner school of ‘Cooperative Technical and Vocational Education and Training’ (cTVET) project. Delegates toured through the training workshops and got a practical insight into the project implementation.
Although TVET students are not in the school now, due to
current circumstances, the teachers demonstrated student’s skills development
approaches to the distinguished guests. Director of Umnugobi Polytechnic
College Mr. Tuvshinbayar and his committed team shared about experiences in the
cooperation with industry, employment opportunities for the school graduates
and current challenges.
