World Vision Mongolia provides PPE kits

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ World Vision Mongolia is
implementing a project worth USD 2.3 million to prevent Covid-19 infections
from April 1 to September 1.
On April 21, representatives of the international organization
as part of the project handed over MNT 56.4 million worth of personal
protective equipment (PPE) for the use of the staff of National Emergency Management
Agency. The organization had previously provided PPE and disinfectant devices
to frontline police officers.
At a meeting held after the handover event, the World
Vision representatives noted that the organization, within the abovementioned
project, is working to promote personal and environmental hygiene practices
among the public, raise people’s awareness of prevention of infectious
diseases, ensure continuity in education, and protect children’s rights in the
face of the virus crisis.
