Two new imported COVID-19 cases detected, total reaches 33

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Yesterday, April 19, one new Covid-19 case was
confirmed in Mongolia, totaling the number of cases to 32.
Today, another one new Covid-19 case was announced during the daily
press briefing of the Ministry of Health. By doing so, the total number of
coronavirus cases in the country is now at 33.
Both cases were detected in Mongolian students, who arrived
from Russia on April 12 and were placed in quarantine under medical supervision.
“As of yesterday, April 19, there was not any suspected case of
Covid-19 recorded in the country. One more recovered patient has been transferred
into medical observation,” said D.Nyamkhuu, Director of the National Center of
Communicable Diseases.
