Cabinet meeting in brief

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ During its regular meeting on March 4,
the Cabinet discussed the following issues.
-Corresponding ministers and authorities of ‘Erdenes Mongol’
LLC were assigned to organize an action to distribute securities to the elders,
who did not get the pension-secured loan or have the remainder of the loan
amounted less than MNT1 million. Moreover, the corresponding ministers were
given a duty to bring into the discussion a Bill, introduction, and concept on
involving the income from the interest of securities purchased by
commercial banks, and ‘Erdenes Silver Resource’ Company in the exemption and reduction
of corporate income tax, as well as to submit it to the Parliament.
-The Cabinet endorsed a draft of the intergovernmental
agreement between Mongolia and the Republic of Slovenia on the mutual exemption
of visa requirements for diplomatic and official passport holders. According to
the agreement, which will be signed soon, diplomatic and official passport
holders of the two countries will be able to visit and stay up to 90 days
without visa.
-Eighty officers of Mongolian armed forces are now
preparing to participate in the military parade for the 75th
anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, to be held on May 9,
2020 in Moscow, Russia.
