International conference on creation of Saray Berke held in Moscow

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On February 27, the International
Institute of World History, Culture, and Architecture held an international
conference on the creation of the cultural and ethnographic center 'Saray Berke' in Moscow, Russia. Saray Berke, the capital of the medieval
Mongolian state, the Golden Horde, is founded by Batkhaan, the grandson of the
Great Chinggis Khaan. The Golden Horde was part of the Great Mongol Empire.
The conference was attended by scholars from different countries who made presentations on the history, architecture, and cultural heritage of the medieval city of Saray Berke. Decisions were made on further scientific and cultural cooperation and by joint efforts continuing the initiative of director of VGOKM Malchenko A.A. and director of the International institute Chagataikhaan T. , to include the ancient city of Saray Berket in the UNESCO list. The scientists agreed to hold such conference more often and share their knowledge and experiences in the field of history, culture and architecture.
