President extends Lunar New Year greeting

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On the occasion of the traditional Mongolian celebration of Lunar New Year – Tsagaan sar, President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga extended greetings to the citizens of Mongolia.

I wish you a happy Mongolian New Year – Tsagaan Sar and extend my greetings on this
upcoming Year of the Metal Rat.
There is an old Mongolian saying “Happiness lies in healthy body”
I am grateful that our Mongolians are adhering to the inevitable decision made by the Government in prevention of the novel coronavirus spread and ensure the security of our precious ones.
Dear elders!
The Government of Mongolia has not forgotten its sacred tradition of caring for the elderly and is working hard to achieve it.
Therefore, the bill on one-time forgiveness of pension-backed loan was approved and it was just the beginning of the activities that the government is presenting to its senior citizens.
Lastly, I am deeply convinced that every Mongolians will stay united and adhere to the decisions made by the Government to survive the challenge that the whole world is facing as well as to respect the dedication of our emergency staff who are buckling down to ensure the peace and health of every single citizen.
May the health and peace stay forever in the vast expanses
of Mongolia under the blessings of the eternal blue sky.”
