Meeting held with British Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Head of the Financial Regulatory Committee D.Bayarsaikhan met with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom to Mongolia Philip Malone.
At the meeting, the Ambassador was given information on the measures being taken for improving the structure to combat money laundering and financing of terrorism in Mongolia and how the country is fulfilling the plan of action agreed with International Co-operation Review Group /ICRG/.
Ambassador Philip Malone mentioned that FRC is taking substantial measures within the short term and said it is possible to render technical assistance in strengthening FRC concerning the implementation of the intensive plan of action agreed with ICRG.
