Operative team works in Gashuunsukhait border checkpoint

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. An operative team of the State Emergency Commission worked in Gashuunsukhait border checkpoint in Khanbogd soum of Umnugobi aimag.
The team staff heard pressing issues and suggestions of the staff at the border checkpoint regarding ongoing measures for preventing and combating novel coronavirus infection.
During the period from January 28 through February 5, 2615 Mongolian nationals, 36 Chinese citizens and 1432 vehicles were supervised in accordance with the quarantine regime and entered Mongolia through Gashuunsaikhait border checkpoint.
The staff in duty at the Gashuunsukhait border checkpoint has a 2-3-day reserve of hand sanitizer, face mask, gloves, protective clothing and equipment; thus the Operative team was requested to resolve the issues on providing with required equipment, protective kits, medicines and ambulance vehicle.
