Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. ‘Karakorum ice festival-2019’ was held at Ulaan tsutgalan waterfall in Bat-Ulzii soum of Uvurkhangai aimag on December 7-8 with a purpose to develop ice climbing sports and promote winter tourism.


In the festival initiated by Mongolia Expedition LLC, international master N.Kherlen, athlete of ‘Sutain Bor’ Club, and B.Densmaa, athlete of ‘Khairkhan Ayalagch’ Club became winners of the festival and received cups.

‘Karakorum ice festival’, one of the adventurous winter tourism events, was enjoyed by citizens of 1st, 2nd and 3rd baghs of Bat-Ulzii soum of Uvurkhangai aimag.
