Mongolian senior athletes become Asian champions
SportsUlaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Thirty one Mongolian senior athletes including World and Asian champion T.Tserendolgor, world champion Ts.Radnaa, sports master Rentsendorj and international master J.Tumenjargal are partaking in contests of relay, race and others at the 21st Asia Masters Athletics Championships taking place in Kuching, Malaysia on December 2-7.
Among Mongolian
athletes, D.Ariunjargal won the first medal – silver in the F40-44 400-meter
race. This achievement was followed by more medals; D.Damdinjav won silver
medal in the M60 5000-meter race and A.Tsogzolmaa claimed silver medal in the F50 5000-meter
event. Also, world champion Ts.Radnaa won a gold medal in the M85 400-meter
race and grabbed a bronze medal in the triple jump contest.
In the discus
throw contest, T.Tserendolgor has won gold and silver medals while international
master J.Tumenjargal won a silver medal.
