S.Tserenchimed wins silver medal from Military World Games

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Mongolian wrestler S.Tserenchimed won a silver medal in the 57kg event at the 7th CISM Military World Games, taking place on October 18-27 in Wuhan, China.

 

In the wrestling for gold medal, she was defeated with 6:3 by her Chinese opponent Li Hui, who is a winner of 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018 CISM Military World Games. It made S.Tserenchimed to be a second Mongolian freestyle wrestler that became a runner-up of CISM Military World Games. Previously, wrestler D.Khuderbulga became a silver medalist of CISM Military World Games 2015.

 

Wrestler S. Tserenchimed is the champion of ‘Tashkent-2014’ World Championships and silver medalist of ‘Las Vegas-2015’ and champion of CISM Military World Games 2014.

 

In the 7th CISM Military World Games, Mongolia is being represented by 82 athletes who are all from ‘Aldar’ sports committee under the Ministry of Defense. The 7th CISM Military World Games brings together more than 9300 athletes from 109 countries.
