Foreign Minister meets Secretary General of the Community of Democracies

Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar met with the Secretary General of the
Community of Democracies (CoD) Thomas E.Garrett at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
of Mongolia on October 21.
“As an active member,
Mongolia actively participates in the CoD activities and cooperates closely,’
said the Minister, informing achievements for democracy and its challenges, expressing commitment to strengthen democracy.
Praising Mongolia’s
contribution, Mr. Garrett briefly introduced about activities within the CoD
and delivered an invitation to attend the 2020 Ministerial Conference to be
held next year in Romania.
The Secretary General of the
Community of Democracies Thomas E.Garrett is visiting Mongolia on October
20-23. During his visit, Mr. Thomas E.Garrett is holding meetings with
Mongolian government officials and social society representatives to study
about the democracy in Mongolia and a process of strengthening democracy.
