Polar Star Order conferred on German Mongolist

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga issued a decree on Awarding a Foreign National and conferred Polar Star Order on Dr.Udo Barkmann, German Mongolist.


In recognition of his authoring numerous works on Mongolian studies and the contribution to the development of Mongolian history and social sciences, Dr. Udo Barkmann was awarded today with the Polar Star Order on occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Federal Republic of Germany.


Following a recital of the presidential decree, Chief of Staff to the President of Mongolia Z.Enkhbold presented the Order and extended his congratulations.
